    Works just fineI've bought this before and I love it.It has a good scent and really makes my hair feel right. Its not musky or anything. Just has a nice woody smell to it. Its not too much either....when someone borrowed it. I didn't smell their hair like some other shampoos. Smells like cheap cologne. Why. I go to American Crew products for the reason that they do not smell of cheap cologne as most other mens products do. I prefer the herbal, somewhat natural scents. Not sure if this is a counterfeit product, but I am sure that it smells and feels cheap. 1Very low suds'ing, dissatisfied This is my first time using American crew men s daily shampoo, but I am finding it extremely low sudsing, to the point that I need to shampoo twice in order to feel like my hair is getting cleaned. There are other reviews saying similar things, I m not sure if we all just got a bad batch or if the product has actually changed when compared to what other more positive review were s have been seeing. 2Price and quality shampoo The same 15.2 oz bottle on American Crew website is almost $15. So if your already a fan then you can t beat the price. Love the smell and how clean My sons hair is. I learned about this brand in cosmetology school, so I know it s a good quality shampoo. 5Knock off-don t buy This is not the real thing. It s a different color and smells different as well. Knock off. Don t buy. 1Used to be great but the new formula is nothing specialWhat a shame, this used to have a distinctive and very pleasant smell. The New Formula stinks, literally and figuratively. It cleans no better than the cheapest grocery store shampoo and no longer has a signature smell. I bought this for more than a decade but now there's really no point - it's just a run of the mill overpriced shampoo. It's disappointing but I will buy another shampoo from now on.1Works great and enormous sized bottle for the price 6 star here! I thought I was getting the large bottle like I get st the local store, this bottle is like jumbo size, almost double the size for the same price! I simply dumped half in the old bottle and have tons of shampoo. Great deal and works well for my hair. 5Something's off I got this and the conditioner because of the price, as I had used American Crew years ago and loved it (2010), but stopped because of the cost. I was happy to see how cheap I could get it and it was a huge mistake. It doesn't seem to smell the same, doesn't foam up on your scalp, and it makes my head itch horribly. The conditioner doesn't really seem to condition. Its either a scam or they've changed their formula. This is horrible, and I'm going to be finding a different product. 1It's American Crew to meI had read a few reviews about this product chastising it for not being authentic or not being as good as original formulas. I ordered this two days ago and received it this morning. I couldn't wait to use it a see if I was swindled as well. I can honestly say that I have used American Crew Daily Shampoos for several years mostly when I could afford to splurge on said product. If this product is fake "I can't call it one and neither can my scalp". From my perspective this product is 100% authentic and if isn't it a damn good replica and I will continue to order it from this supplier especially at this size and price. If you use American Crew you won't be disappointed with this buy.5I get the same results from less expensive brands Kind of bummed that it was a 'New Formula'. I only bought this overpriced crap because I had been using my roommates bottle and I became obsessed with the scent. Then I order it and I get some new formula bs that doesn't have the same scent as the original. Also, not sure if they are correlated, but since I've been using the New Formula, I have developed what looks like subtle chemical burns on the area of my hands that i used to lather the shampoo on my hair. 2Not enough lather Not as good as other American Crew products I've used in the past. My opinion, doesn't lather up very well or feel as clean after using as I'd expect. 2I didn't know Amazon sells knockoffs Doesn't smell like the same product I've purchased in a hair salon. It's thinner too. Smells like cheap knock off.. 1Not much different from the usual shampooI got this shampoo on the recommendation of my barber who had noted I had a few red papules on my scalp. She felt that my current shampoo had too much stuff in it, like conditioners that were causing the eruptions. The american crew shampoo she said did not have all that extra stuff. So I tried it a few years ago, and in the beginning (first few days of daily use), I thought my scalp felt better, but then my scalp got worse again despite continued use. So now I have retried it, and things felt good for only one use, before the eruptions came back again.Don't get me wrong: the shampoo cleans well, and my hair feels OK -- but it did not improve those eruptions.I've stopped using it. I've gone to using a micro biome-friendly product instead, which -- fingers crossed -- seems to be working in reducing the eruptions (3 weeks of use so far).3Smells and feels like glue The daily shampoo and daily moisteurizing shampoo are not the same! The moisturizing shampoo is the better smelling of the two. This stuff leaves my hair feeling damaged. 2something is not right As many other dissatisfied users have pointed out, this product smells blend and produces very little suds unless you use a lot. I ended up went to Target bought a small bottle of the same thing to compare. The real Crew was also lightly scented but not as blend as the questionable one I bought from here. For the same amount of product I used, there was significantly more suds when washing. I do want to point out that I bought mine from a 3rd party seller. Amazon itself is also selling the shampoo, so it is possible Amazon sells the real thing, or more reliable in a sense... 1Smells like Wood GlueBelieve the reviews. The American Crew Daily Shampoo (smaller bottles) that you buy at the grocery store smell amazing. This one smells like wood glue. Seriously, wood glue. I don't know if these are just old bottles that have been in a warehouse somewhere, or if it's a new formula, or simply a bad batch. But there's nothing to like about this and I'm afraid to continue to use it on my head. I will be contacting American Crew for a refund, and if they don't provide one, then I'll return to Amazon. Don't waste your money.1
