    Cute but not good quality We got about a months use out of it (a couple times a week) but recently we've noticed flecks of color on my daughter and realized that some of the purple and orange flowers are coming off. I've attached a picture below of a couple of the flowers, but pretty much everywhere the cap crinkles (around the face), the flowers are coming of. Just an annoyance because now I'm picking random flecks of paint off my daughter. It was relatively inexpensive, but still not worth the money. Bummer. I bought two other shower caps at the same time (different brands) and haven't had an issue with either of those. 2Great shower cap! This shower cap is the best shower cap I have bought hands down. Every shower cap I bought before this would last a few months. Purchased this in August 2012 and I use it almost every day. I'm black so because black hair is different from every other ethnicity, I don't need to wash my hair often. I usually have my hair protected by braids, cornrows, etc. Even with crochet medium-sized twists, the cap has been holding up pretty well.The print does start to fade away after several uses. It is mold resistant. I have yet to see mold. No holes. It looks like I've overstretched it a bit and it could fall apart but it fails to fall apart YET. If/when it does, I'll be sure to update this review. 5butt ugly, but works so well, so who cares?! Most people (mainly women) know you shouldn't wash your hair everyday. And while this is sound advice for your scalp, you still need to bathe the rest of your body which is why the shower cap was invented. I have a decent amount of hair , and while its not overly thick,a 'traditional' shower cap ( you know the kind- super thin clear plastic that the elastic stretches out after about 3 uses) does not hold all of my hair. I bought this for the price (relatively cheap) ad the size. I can put my long hair in a bun and this cap can still reach my ears and hold in all those baby hairs around the nape of my neck (something that a cheap-o cap was never able to do) i've had this one for a year and it has yet to stretch out or get a hole in it. While these shower cap do not have the most 'fashionable' prints/ designs, I bought it for the sole purpose of utility, not for a runway show in my bathroom. I am pleased and satisfied! 5Okay, but . . . I have been on the hunt for a great shower cap for a few years now. My favorite one was actually from the dollar store--terrycloth lined and everything. Since I haven't been able to find one since, I've turned to the internet!I've searched high and low. I even considered dropping $30 + shipping for a fancy one I found online. But this one looked cute and the price was right.The pros: Again, impossibly cute design. Fun for the shower! I have thick medium length hair and it all fits well in this cap, no problem. The elastic is a comfy fit around my face.The cons: The material isn't as thick as I would like. Granted, I know this isn't a pricey shower cap, but I still expected a higher gauge vinyl. However, I can tell this will last me at least a few months, if not a year.Bottom line: I will probably be back to buy another! 3Not as good as I was hoping It is a very cool-looking shower cap, but the elastic was a little tight on my head, and I don't have that big of a head. It is a very big shower cap, way more room than I needed for my shoulder-length hair. If you have a good amount of hair, you don't have to worry about it being too small, that's for sure!I was hoping it was more mold-resistant than the goody and walmart shower caps, which tend to get a bit sour-smelly after about a month of use, but I actually had to toss out this shower cap earlier than usual. So instead of spending $5, I'll go back to spending about $3 for a 3-pack of my usual ones and just accept that I'm going to go through them at a steady rate. :\If you don't have problems with humidity/mold in your bathroom tho, you will probably be tickled with these fun shower caps! 3Weird ink leeching issue -- would not buy again This shower cap started leaving weird colored marks on my tub and wall, and then I realized the ink that the design was printed on was coming off and marking up my stuff. It even stained my skin when I touched it with my hand. Very gross and annoying to have to clean. Would not recommend. 1What a shower cap should be Okay so it's a bit wack to be excited about a shower cap but this is one awesome shower cap!! I've looked for a while now for a shower cap that is large enough to hold my big head and shoulder length hair. All the little walgreen and osco shower caps are just that.....little. Plus they tend to have rather weak rubber binding that holds the cap on your head so it is not terribly secure if you plan to move around like say when you wash in the shower. So in a rather desperate move I ordered this Betty Dain shower cap on Amazon. Wow....never again will I cram my hair into a drug store ziploc bag aka shower cap. This shower cap has room for my head and my modest amount of hair. It is water tight inspite of my wanting to bath in the shower. It is also kind of cute in a funky way. And a bargain price.What a find. 5Ink Rubs Off The shower cap itself works fine as far as keeping your hair dry in the shower. However, the printed pattern started wearing off immediately even though I was hanging it up to dry. It also started leaving black marks on my hands and anywhere I would put it. From now on, I'll buy plain caps. 2Meh I was very excited for this item as i have a lot of hair and like to clip it up with a barrel claw/jaw clip, which do the opposite of helping hair fit into shower caps. Anyways, this product claims it's "Oversized to fit all lengths of hair", i call bull. It fits me fine, but barely and i know other people have much more hair than i do. The designs have already started to fade in sections. THE most annoying thing about this cap is the frills! They cause itching. One last thing, it slides down my forehead, i wish it would stay put at my hairline.For Reference: my hair is curly and in layers with the longest layer reaching just above my waist. I've been using this item for three weeks now.Bottom Line: Alas, it's just a shower cap. It does what it should (for me at least) but could do it better. 3Little Film Pieces Will Fall I loved the design of this shower cap, it was beautiful! But it only lasted maybe the first 5 washes with it on at most. The print came off in fun little weird plan films all of plastic(?) all over the place, in the shower & out.So I started using this cap for covering my hair after coloring instead, and it works fine for that, mostly. Other than the weird bits of rose print film that still manage to turn up everytime I use this cap.. I find myself now rather not even using a shower cap than use this one. Writing this review has actually made me realize I'm going to go throw this crap out already.Wouldn't reccomend, not worth the money & there are far, far better shower caps out there! 2
