Customer Reviews

but these have been great! I use them to shave my legs and ...A lot of people complained about getting more cuts and nicks than with other razors so I was nervous, but these have been great! I use them to shave my legs and haven't had any problems. I think any razor will you give you cuts and/or razor burn if you aren't careful. I love the single blade on these because it's more precise and I find it easier to shave around my knees, which is typically a difficult area5I hate shavingEvery single time I shave, I break out. It doesn't matter how moist my face is. It doesn't matter what kind of shaving cream I use. Razors eat my face. What's worse is razors with multiple blades, and even worse are razors with a head that moves around. I got these because they're extremely basic. One immovable blade is what you need for sensitive skin. I still get acne after shaving.3I really like them. I have a moderately thick beardI've been using these BIC Sensitive razors for probably at least 10 years now. I really like them.I have a moderately thick beard, which grows fairly fast. I don't have to shave twice a day or anything, but I definitely have a noticeable 5 o'clock shadow. For years I used the cartridge razors, especially the Gilette Sensor line...but I could never get more than about 3 or 4 days out of a cartridge, and they were so expensive.I've been able to get on average about 2 weeks out of one of these, shaving every day, before it starts really pulling. The first day is usually a little rough; I wish I could find a good way to strop the blade, I think that would help. But even then, it's not too bad. By the second or third shave, the blade is absolutely perfect, and gives nice close shaves for at least 7 or 8 more shaves. However to get this much life you have to take care of the blade. It helps to have good water, rinse the blade well after use and make sure it's reasonably dry before putting it away. Otherwise they do wear out more quickly. Also of course variations in thickness and length of growth make a huge difference. As a caveat though, these blades do require a bit more care and skill than the cartridges. You have to be more careful about angle. Also good face prep and good lather definitely help, although not essential. For several years I shaved with regular bath soap in the shower; however, now I use a badger brush with good shave soap/cream, which is definitely better. The only negative is that these tend to clog a little easier than a good double-edge razor. However they are infinitely better than cartridge razors in the clogging department. All in all, I've used everything from the cartridge razors to very nice double-edged razors, and I keep coming back to these. They are definitely my favorite.5Sticking with my triple blade.Bought these to reduce shaving irritation. I don't know if it's because I'm used to shaving with more blades therefore I'm not getting the correct angle, but this razor irritated my skin and left behind hair causing me to have to make many passes in the same area. I even prepped my skin more than I usually do by soaking in warm water to open folicles, oiling my blade, and using a brush to gently exfoliate, followed up with great aftercare products. I went back to my triple bladed razor even though they are said to cause more irritation than single blades.2Great Brand and ProductMy razor of choice since I started shaving my legs as a teen over 20 years ago. Came in several packs instead of one large one which was great for me to store.5I like. I would buy these again. Beware there is no lather-strip of any kind built on. The only way that these are good for sensitive skin is that the gaurd has a lot of surface are so it stays flatter on your skin i guess. 4A good travel option for safety razor users I'm a safety razor guy and realized that after shaving with a single blade, multi-blade disposable cartridges are rough on the face. Unfortunately, I travel a lot and can't carry my razor in my carry on (I rarely check luggage). This was a good option in a disposable single blade, and so far has lived up to the reviews. 5ReliableReliable razor and disposable.5Expensive Expensive for low quality product. Single blade terrible plastic material and pricey. What is good about this product is only have a razor. 1Great ValueYou get a lot of razors at a good price. I usually use my Gillette fusion5 for the main bulk of the shave since the Gillette are 5 blades I cannot go against the grain without razor burn. Since these BIC are single blades I can go for a second shave against the grain for a very close shave without getting much, if any, razor burn.5Perfect for Shaving Head My husband uses them for shaving his head as they seem to work the best without cutting or getting too dirty. Best for single use as the blades can rust easy. 5A good, dependable shave. When I was a teenager, an old retired barber told me that for his money, the best razor out there (early 70's) was the Schick Injector razor. This razor, is the disposable version of the Schick Injector razor. I have a moderate, but not heavy beard. I have used these razors since the late 80's, except for about 10 years when I used a double edge because of the D.E. craze. To me, and for my beard, I get as good a shave as a double edge. The reason I came back to them was some issues with my hands due to arthritis and aging. I see no real difference in the quality of the shave verses a D.E. No messing around with installing a blade. The razor is feather light and easy to control, not having the clunkiness of some D.E. razors. Consequently, I feel all the more comfortable shaving with them. The quality control from Bic is excellent; I get a week's worth of shaves out of them with my beard. Nothing fancy, or particularly sexy, just a consistent good shave. All told, I have used them, taking into account the D.E. use, at least twenty years with these Bic razors. I recommend them.5Bic razor's like a face massage! After a shave WITHOUT BIC, my face is usually bloodied with torn flesh.WITH BIC's sensitive-skin razors, my German Shepherd can give me a shave with nary a nick or cut. Good boy! Great sensitive Bic!5Exactly as orderedPerfect purchase, saved a lot of money. Packaging was great, fast delivery. Thank you.5
