Love this lip crayonLove this lip crayon! My lips usually get really dry so I wanted something to moisturize while also giving me a light color, and this was perfect. My lips didn't get chapped and the light pink color was so pretty! Very easy and smooth when applying it, and I just keep it in my purse for when it fades away after a few hours and I can just easily re-apply. I'm planning on getting some more colors!5Great color for my skin tone.Top photo is without anything, bottom is with the lip crayon in Niagara. I'm pretty happy with this color. My skin is a little darker than photographed (more like the top photo) so it's warm and perky enough and not super red. The color comes off on whatever I'm eating or drinking and is fairly sticky, but it lasts through the day fairly well.5Reliable quality brand. Pretty red color. Burt's Bees products are generally great quality and this is no different. I was expecting it to be a little more purple-red or burgandy-ish like a wine color but it seemed a little more lighter red. I am keeping it because I assume they won't take it back after I've tried it but it's not exactly the color that I was expecting although the color is not bad at all. Just not as dark as I wanted it to be. It goes on very smooth and isn't sticky or clumpy. It doesn't really have a smell or taste either which I really like. There isn't the regular Burt's Bees minty feel to it either which I am very happy about. I will buy more of these and try to find the color I am looking for because I do like the quality of the pencil. 5Love love love Burts Bees anything - but the crayon ...Love love love Burts Bees anything - but the crayon is fun because you can go as dark or light as you like by adding it thicker or taking some off with a kleenex. It's also really good under gloss and doesn't slide/smudge. It stains the lips lightly which I like, but doesn't dry like a traditional stain or other brands of crayons I've used. Thank you Burt!! (whoever you are!) ;)5Does not last with talking, even.I don't know how the reviews can be so different on this one. It has the staying power of 30 minutes. After that it quickly starts flooding to the edges of your lips leaving a tacky appearance. Just talking is enough to make this stuff fade. Waste of money. Color is beautiful when you put it on. Too bad it doesn't last past your front door.Update: I tried it one more time, thinking I may have gotten an old one or something. Bought it directly from the store in person and same thing. Photos show how easy it just comes off onto your teeth immediately, and off of your lips. Last photo shows how it looks after a short while wearing it. I got the Hawaiian oneBeautiful color! I got the Hawaiian one. It s so moisturizing and easy to apply. Dont feel sticky, heavy or anything, it s just like you re wearing chapstick. I like it a lot!5Rich color for dry lipsWith the extreme cold of outside and the dry, artificial heat of inside, my lips needed more TLC than my usual matte lip shades but more color than a chapstick. I am fair-skinned with dark red hair, so going without color leaves me looking very washed out. These lip crayons are the perfect solution, with a thick enough formula to provide some therapeutic moisture and a barrier from the harsh, wintry environment. The color fades evenly and is easy to apply, I don't feel like I need five minutes and a bunch of q-tips to get a clean look. Even better, if lips are already dry, this doesn't settle into lines or create any flakiness, it's buttery and comfortable. I've come back to pick up another color (Redwood Forest) and maybe another!5Three Stars The color is nice, but you get a waxy flavor that tastes like a real crayon. 3Yes!I always wanted to rock my inner French girl with a red lip but never found any reds that worked for me. This products texture is just like chapstick. It provides great moisture and my lips aren't dry. The color is just as vibrant as a regular lipstick. I purchased Napa Vineyard. It's a beautiful bright deep red color. I love it - color and moisture all in one!5Unfortunately *much* too bright a red..I love the "lip crayons" of Burt's Bees - they aren't too drying, they do last a long time, and I have Hawaiian Smolder & Niagara Overlook already.Overall I give the "Burt's Bees lip crayon" product line five stars.However, I looked at the Napa Vineyard lip crayon color as pictured on the model with "fair skin" on Amazon and I thought it would work well with my skin tone. So I went ahead and purchased it through Amazon.com since I cannot find it locally *anywhere*. Unfortunately, it was *very* bright. A lovely color but not on myself. (Hence the 4 stars.)However, Niagara Overlook is a perfect match for me.3Love this lip crayon, the color, and can't beat the price. This was listed as a top favorite used by make up artists. It suggested this was a flattering shade on everyone. I can only speak for myself but it is a great color. It is smooth and creamy, and doesn't stain or smear like others I have used. Having it as an "add on item" is particularly helpful because it is way cheaper than purchasing it in store. 5
