Customer Reviews

Worked Well for Me!I got these caps because I wanted to start dying my hair at home and I thought it would be nice to put my hair in it while the time is passing. These worked perfectly for that! And now I have PLENTY for whenever I want to do it again!5Better than Expected These are much better than I expected. The elastic bands fit tight enough around my head to not allow water in when I use them as a shower cap. I have a normal sized head with short hair, so I was worried because they're extra large. The band isn't XL, but the plastic cap part is. I bought these to use as shower cap when I realized my fancy smancy one needed to be washed every couple of days because it would get yucky. Believe it, or not, these cheap plastic ones work better for keeping water out. I love how they're disposable, too -just toss them when they get yucky. I also like that I can use them for deep conditioning or hair dying. 5Not just for hair/showers any more. I am a Chef, and I use these over bowls, plates, dough rising/proofing containers (spray the inside with aerosol baking spray for nonstick), picnic items, leftovers, mis en place trays, and virtually everything for which I used to use plastic wrap. They fit round, square, & rectangular pans, 1/2 hotel pans (and smaller), and every odd shaped container I have tried. It is one of the most convenient tips I can give anyone for working in the kitchen. They also work great for covering a camera to keep it dry, either on or off a tripod, when it is raining or misting (lift the front off of the lens when taking a shot, put it back over it until the next shot)They work well for covering plants and pots to increase humidity, light fixtures when painting, and hundreds of other uses. Stick a few in your car for when you have to jump start a battery or do something else in the rain and you don't want your head soaked, or grab greasy parts or use a gas can to protect your hands from the grease/stink if you don't have gloves. Carry a few for doggie doo-doo pickup.Buy the 100 pack (why it's $6.97, and the 30-pack is $26.68, I'll never be able to figure out), you'll find uses for them. 5Good quality and fun colorsWe use these for travel or one time use with conditioning treatments. They fit perfectly and stay on. You get a ton of them for a good price. The colors are very fun! I will repurchase.5Practical and comfortableThese are great for coloring my hair and not ruining my cute shower caps. They re are comfortable and keep me from staining things while waiting for hair color to do its thing. Price was great too.5Great value for price with multiple uses- but does have initial chemical smell A really great value for the price (100 for about $8 depending on price fluctuations), and can be used for more than just the shower. I bought mainly to use to protect/cover the soles of shoes I pack so that they don't get my clothes or whatever else I pack dirty, and also protect the shoes from getting dirty. They also work as temporary covers for dishes or bowls to keep out dust or bugs (if outside). Whatever you choose to use them for, you have plenty of them to use so it's awesome. The only downside is the weird chemical smell that they have once you open the bag, but I'm hoping that will go away with time. Also, they are individually wrapped, which may annoy some people who want to use multiple at a time, but is also nice because the package itself is not resealable at the top (like a ziploc) so this keeps them from becoming tangled or disorganized. Overall, it's an incredible value, I just wish they didn't have that weird smell right now. 4DurabilityExcellent fit and strength for its intended purpose5useful plastic caps :D I liked the cloth line shower caps but like another reviewer said they took awhile to dry and would get gross. I got tired of buying them so I thought I'd try these. They're for the most part decent... They are pretty flimsy and a bit difficult to put on (I have medium /long thick hair), but they get the job done.At first I was like "do I really need 100???", but for the price I don't have to worry about buying any for quite some time. Especially since I could use the same one 3 times a week.I'm finding other uses for them like putting them on my shoes when I pack for trips (putting on hotel tv remote for that matter), or putting it on my iPad when I need to read recipes while cooking but my hands are messy. 4Great coverage for either hair color or conditioning! Great price! I needed more caps and buy them in bulk for two reasons. One would be a root color touch up. It covers my entire head of hair, which is substantial, when clipped up, and keeps me from smudging color accidentally on walls, clothes or anything that I may come in contact with by accident. I also use one sometimes for deep conditioning. It can be used in the shower or if you step outside it. Wash your hair, put in deep conditioner and keep this one your hair, clipped up so all is underneath the cap, for 20 minutes or so. My stylist used to have me sit under a bonnet dryer with one of these for conditioning treatment, but it traps heat in automatically. (You lose heat from your head.) You can tell by the steam and moisture drops that will build up under the cap while you wait. You can also use it to condition for however many minutes while in the shower to avoid rinsing out the conditioner while you shave or whatever. This set will last you a long time! 5Most recent package had wildly inconsistent sizing! I regularly bleach, dye, and deep condition my hair, and these processing caps do the job and are a great price. I've purchased this several times, and my only complaint is that the most recent package I received had caps with inconsistent sizing. They all have the same band size, but the plastic caps themselves range from "just covers my head" to "I could fit seven feet of hair in here." This isn't the biggest issue for me because I don't have a lot of hair. But if you have a lot of hair, some of these might not be usable. 3As someone who has pretty high maintenance hair (bleached) As someone who has pretty high maintenance hair (bleached), this 100 pack of caps helps me get through the week!I wash my hair 2-3x a week and I wear my cap around the house to allow my hair to absorb the purple shampoo and hair mask. For a large pack, I was expecting the caps to be of lower quality (like the ones they give out in hotel bathrooms), but they're pretty sturdy to the point that I'm able to reuse them a few times before disposing them! Actually, the only reason I dispose of them is because they're dirty and I don't have the time to clean them!I recently got through 50% of the bag and would definitely rebuy this brand once I run out. 5Red colors, tones are hardest to maintain.Helped tremendously with processing my home hair color. Since air conditioning keeps air colder and slows, sometimes alters the color, the cap made processing my color to give me color I wanted. My color was more intense and auburn color lasted longer.5Looks like they are sturdy enough to get the job done Well a couple of reviews stated that there were dead bugs in their caps but I thought maybe they just got some packages that were sitting very long so mines won't......aha their is definitely a dead bug in my package but not the actual caps I only opened 1 anyway but I used a flash light to look through the package and didn't see anymore so the caps look pretty durable I will definitely soak my caps in water and rinse them before use its no big deal I will be purchasing these again if I ever run out lol 4Multiple uses!I used these as shoe covers for a trip. They worked! And able to pack everything together:)5Works well.Works well. Not a whole lot to say beyond that. It's a cap.5GoodOrdered these for when I do not want to wash my hair but also do not want to get it wet in the shower. I have thick, long hair and these work good. They do feel cheap but do not let it fool you, they get the job done. I clip my hair up with a large clip and wrap the cap around my hair. Love that I can just throw them away after I use them, I hate the nasty smell the reusable ones get after several uses therefore these are perfect! :)5Great little capsI use when applying a mask. Great for keeping mask product out of my hair!5Great Product! I really bought this because I needed a shower cap for when I take a bath. I used to wear regular thick shower caps, but the problem is that they always take long to dry and then eventually begin to smell terribly. They're also relatively expensive, especially when I need to replace my old ones. I use the disposable caps now for a few times before throwing them out (which is about once every two weeks). Since there are 100 caps, this will last me a long time. The plastic is thin, but not fragile or delicate, and the band on the edge gives it a good grip around my head. I have not had any troubles with these caps so far. I also deep condition my hair and these are obviously great for that. The price that Amazon offers is amazing and I was able to get free shipping with it. I highly recommend this product! 5Helps processDo my own hair bleach and color and need a plastic cap for process. These help the products work better. Great to have.5Not In My Shower. I am a retired old coot and do not have enough hair left on my head to worry about...so...I don't need a shower cap...BUT...One of my hobbies is baking my own bread from scratch. I must confess that when it comes to plastic wrap I am all thumbs. These caps are perfect for covering yeast dough in the proofing and rising processes. They fit my largest proofing bowls, are easy to see through without lifting them and can be punctured so large batches can breath. I am very pleased with this product.Proofing Tip: I proof my dough in the oven with the over turned OFF and the over light turned ON to supply the small amount of heat needed to speed up the process. 5
