    How do you choose just one? After buying 5 Oberon Hair Clips for my daughters' in law and one granddaughter for Christmas, I decided that I needed one too. I can't believe how beautiful all these clips are and how well the were received! Most of the recipients have a lot of hair, which most clips cannot hold, but the french design on these beauties can hold up to almost anything! I think I'm going toneed another one soon...the problem is how to choose just one! 5Beautiful, sturdy, and just the right size! This is a beautiful piece of hair jewelry! I absolutely love it. This will last my entire lifetime, it s that well made. Typically, because my hair is so thick, I try to clip in a barrette and it immediately breaks. I was so scared when I first went to put it in my hair and it held up perfectly! I wear this for 12 hours shifts very active and it never ever slips. It holds my hair in a French twist and a messy bun without problems. I have very thick hair that hangs mid back but is fine textured so everything slips out. Not this clip! I read the reviews and decided to purchase this large barrette in hopes it could hold all of my hair. I purchased another barrette from this seller previously and love the quality. I was very pleased with the professional packaging, the quality of the barrette, and most of all - that it was able to hold all of my hair. Enclosed with the barrette was a Tree of Life Charm that will be hung in my vehicle as I love it. You will not be disappointed at all with the barrettes! 5Big Head Approved I love this barrette. So much so that I posted a pic of myself in the bathroom trying to get a pic of it.I have A LOT of hair and a big head. You can see how it sits differently on my head than on the models or other posted pics of the barrette.In its entirety the barrette is a bit heavy BUT the clip itself is very nice and different from barrettes of the past. Instead of having an arching tension spring thing, it's flat and (I think) that allows for more hair to be held.In fact , it does hold ALL of my hair if I wore it in a low ponytail. I don't particularly care for that look though because it doesn't do the barrette's design any justice. Having it half-up does.I wouldn't recommend this barrette for anyone with fine hair - it would just slip out. 5My very last favorite hair item finally met an unfortunate end at the ... I want to start off by saying that I'm picky about hair clips, pins, clasps, and basically anything I put in my hair. My very last favorite hair item finally met an unfortunate end at the hands of a two year old last year and I've been on a never ending hunt for something attractive ( not plastic), that would also be able to handle fine, but thick hair. To say that I like this barrette would be an understatement. I LOVE this hair barrette. It's not to heave, latge enough to hold all of my hair up neatly And beautifully all day. It's sturdy, so I see it lasting a long time like my old one. 5Heavy/Slippage Issue with Fine Hair This is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful craftsmanship, and it came elegantly packaged. You could absolutely give this as a gift to someone comfortably. It's a fairly heavy weight, which I think is causing it to slip in my hair, though it may also be because I have very fine hair. In order to make it stay in place, I have to put a lot more hair into the clip than I do with most of my other clips. 5Almost perfect This is a lovely hair clip. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is it's very heavy and so probably unsuitable for anyone with very fine, very soft hair, unless you have a whole lot of it. I generally only use this barrette on Sundays when I want to keep my hair up and out of my way since I sing in the choir. By the end of two masses, the barrette has slipped quite a bit.I really wish the manufacturer would use a clip mechanism that has multiple levels of hold, or that has the clip part, the hinged part coated with plastic so it's not so slippery. Even so, I do expect to buy more from this designer. 4
