    Ftench luxe xlarge These are great just like a set I bought at a mall off of a seller of his own wagon in 1990. I couldn't find any like it till now. I ordered 1 for my mom & me plus a clear 1. They are flexible not that of the ones on Ebay for 6.00. I'm so glad I trusted the reviews on this. They were a little more but it was worth it. 5check that you get the right size! To begin with, they were way too big for my small head. Then some of the teeth broke. No longer usable. I was very disappointed. I have been looking for these in all stores and could not find them. Then I was stoked to discover on Amazon. Can't find a smaller size! 2Original Clips from years ago! These are absolutely the best combs - I had these years ago but with a transition to very short hair they were lost along the way. Now that I have medium length hair I went looking for these combs. The cheaper knock-off brands interlock so tightly that they constantly pull your hair. The France Luxe are amazing, they hold the hair evenly and do not pinch or snag. I was so glad to find these on Amazon, my new favorite shopping venue! 5France Luxe Large Interlocking Combs These combs are perfect for holding back longish hair cut in a shag but longish on the sides. They were popular in the 70s but unavailable where I live now. The resulting "pony tail" cascades down the back of your head instead of bunching up in a single bun. If your hair is not quite long enough to be completely contained at the back of your head, you can use other devices on the sides and top and bottom. Since the combs don't show under my hair, I also use a little crab clip at the very top, and on a hot day, an additional little comb at the very bottom to hold hair off my neck. I LOVE these combs! 5too big These interlocking hair combs hold hair better than the mia interlocking hair combs and are flexible enough to last for several wearings. That said, they are too big. If I place them in the correct place behind my head to hold my hair up in a style, their bottoms rub on my neck. This rubbing is annoying and causes the combs to loosen in my hair. If I wear them high enough in the back of my head that the combs don't rub on my neck, they stick up behind my head. If they were the size of the mia lockettes, they would meet my needs. Alas, the mia lockettes broke after 1 wearing, making them totally useless. 3These are the best I've owned I have long, very thick and curly hair. I've used these two clips to put my hair up for years, but these particular ones are great! Some I own are hard plastic, and they sometimes will come 'unclipped' from eachother, but these are made of a more flexible material that sort of "sticks" (for lack of a better term) them together and they hold securely. The are expensive, in my opinion, but worth it in comparison to others I've used. Give them a try! You simply 'scoop' hair from both sidesof your head, putting one comb in each hand, place them behind your ears, and then bring them up and together at the top/back of your head. Similar to banana clips, but better. a) I have way too much hair for those one piece snap together style clips, and b) you don't lose length since the sides are pulled up, but you don't have to try get the hair from the nape of your neck. Give these a try! 5Bendable plastic - doesn't shatter My cats love these more than I do. They work for a very wide tooth comb for them covering a large area per pass.When I can get them away, they hold my hair perfectly. The way the teeth interlock really holds your hair well, yet they come out easily enough when it's time to take them out. Bendable and not hard plastic that breaks easily...these are a keeper. 5One bendy tooth and the whole thing won't work I really like how long this interlocking comb is. It gives the look of a banana clip without the limitation of the two combs being attached. And it's thick and sturdy enough for thick hair. I don't know if I got a defective one or if they are all so vulnerable, but one of the teeth got bent after one wear. I didn't do anything to make it unstable such as lying down with it or sitting on it, so I don't know how that happened. I bent it back into place and it works as long as that one tooth doesn't bend again. Looks like it won't last long though. 2THE BEST After reading others reviews I purchased this product. I've used this type of clamps for 20 years and I will say this company has really produced a top quality product. I've included pictures because for me I prefer to ware the clamp closed the wrong way in picture 2 only because I have curly hair and nobody will notice but also it allows me to tuck and keep all my hair in the comb better as well as it feeling better to ware. I have purchased two colors and will purchase more because they are wonderful to ware and I always get compliments on my hair and people asking "WOW how do you do that?" Simple and easy best tool ever... Thank You France Luxe!!! 5Seller great, but product not for me My rating is based on the professionalism and responsiveness of the seller. They went out of their way to accommodate me, shipped a product promptly and followed up quickly to ensure my satisfaction. Unfortunately, the product does not work for my hair--it's too thick. I tried and adjusted to no avail. Not sure what I'll do with the product now, but the company is top notch. Perhaps it will work for you. If they ever decide to create a super strong product for women with super powered thick, curly, natural hair, I'll be first in line to buy it. 5THESE COMBS ARE UNSURPASSABLE...WELL WORTH THE PRICE...I bought these combs several months ago for my long, fine, thick hair. I had previously purchased several pair of much cheaper plastic combs which lost teeth within a short period of time. I had hope they were like the ones that I remembered having when I was young, however, they were probably a rubber material and I had them forever. This time, I only bought one pair this time around...I had read the reviews and researched the France Luxe products on their website. I made a great choice. These are heavy duty interlocking combs. They are smooth, tapered teeth that won't tear or break your hair. They hold the hair tight...so tight that you will want to loosen them slightly to avoid headaches. My next pair will be tortoise shell.5Ohhh yeaaaahhh!Great !...Just like the ones I had in the 70's , very flexible, don't hurt my head. On the plus side also...they are a tiny bit longer, with is great because they hold those little lose strands. A bit pricey, but worth it. I have looked everywhere for these. I bought others on Amazon, and they were brittle and broke within 2 weeks. $10 down the drain. Pay the $15, you will be happy you did!5Holds my coarse heavy hair!In the 80s when I was a Spring Chicken, I used combs like this to put my hair back. They can stick together in a few different ways so you can make different styles. I've been growing my hair out again so decided to look for these big combs again and I was glad to find them here on Amazon. They're flexible enough to work well and seem to be a decent quality. They hold my heavy thick hair well.5
