Real Smooth Edge to Nail - better than my metal nail files Was a little hesitant to buy a "new" type of nail file but I GLAD I did. For regular filing of my nail I now only use this nail file as it really gives a smooth edge to your nails. The only drawback, for me, is that it is a little bit thick for cleaning under your nail. I use this file for filing....and my metal file for cleaning under my nails. Would definitely buy again. 5Outstanding quality and value.Outstanding product! I was aware that some of the finest chef knives were ceramic, but had no idea this material was used for nail files. If you groom your nails with files, I strongly urge you to try these files. A range of coarseness, durable, reusable/washable and efficient. You will not be disappointed. You will never go back to cardboard files again. One missing feature...each are color coded, but not identified as to the coarseness levels.5These are amazing, I love them, I really wondered if all of the buzz about these Czech, files was true, it IS accurate. Nails feel so smooth after filing without creating snags like other type files. I think my nails are better already using them about a week. It s not a miracle for growing nails, but it makes the nail much less likely to tear, so your nails will be nicer. I ll never use any other type of file again. The glass does make them fragile, but handle carefully with light pressure and file your nails gently because they work quicker to smooth nails. 5Loooooove these! I have no idea why I didn't know about these. These are awesome! They are pretty too, not that that really matters. So, I use CND gel on my nails and sometimes my nails get too long before it's time to do them again and these files can shorten my nails with the gel on, no problem. They make shaping easier too since they leave your nails really smooth with no rough edges at all. They take the length down quickly with the gel on so without gel they'd be really quick. I have thrown out all my old files and buffers etc. Absolutely love these! Something about these attracts my cat though lol I have to fight her off when I file my nails, she likes to bite the pointy end, which reminds me, I love the pointy end, it gets it the curves and edges of your nails really easy and that end has the finer grit so it's great for smoothing out rough spots.In case I didn't mention it, the grit gets finer the closer you get to the point end. Same on both sides. Did I mention I love these?! 5Good Quality I have had these for about 7 months, and I have only used 2 of them. I use these to shape my sister's fake nails, and they are still working well. It's all about maintenance. After I'm done using them I wash them with hand soap and pat them dry. This removes the residue if the residue still doesn't come off, I use this an old toothbrush. After you dry the file, it works like new again. I've also dropped these countless times, on my tile and wood flooring and they have not cracked or chipped. 5Wow! Great for fragile nails. Perfect GIFT. These files are different from any file I've ever tried. Figured I would give them a try. So glad I did. PERFECT for my fragile peeling nails. They already look and feel SO much better. I especially like the fact that it doesn't matter what direction you file. Also, I will probably give them as gifts since they are novel, practical, and PRETTY! Great customer service too. Best Nail Files in the Universe! Many years ago I purchased a glass nail file at a beauty supply shop. It was amazing and I used it until it finally broke into a zillion pieces. I've purchased other since then, but they must have been Chinese knock-offs, because they were all just terrible. At last I found these on Amazon, and I know Czech glass is the very finest in production, so I gave them a try. They just arrived a few hours ago and I absolutely could not be happier. They are beautiful, for a starter, you get five in a set, and they work extremely well. The "grit" is fine so my thin nails are not shredded instead of smoothed, and they easily get rid of those pesky splits and chips that occur. The size is just right and on my small nails, the pointed tip can get right into those close-to-the-cuticle places I am so happy I bought these. If you have fingernails, you should buy these, too! 5The Best Nail Files . . .EVER! This is my second order and it's not because I'm hard on nail files or that these are poor quality. These are everything the reviews say.I wanted to sterilize one of these in alcohol to finesse an ingrown toenail. The alcohol seemed to lessen the grit, but it was still worth it. The toenail is now safely growing out and filed appropriately.I wish there were more color options. I wanted a set of pink ones but couldn t find them marketed that way. Hopefully my sister will trade some of her light ones for some of my dark ones. Oh yes, I sent her a set right away! My daughter-in-in-law is next. Then my coworkers. 5These are wonderful. But these glass files are great. They smooth out the snags without tearing up my nails. They are thin enough to fit under the nail. Some glass files I have had are too thick and barely fit under my short nails. These are great. 5
