Very Pleased. My boys love these. I made them a focus blend to wear at school, and wanted to give them a necklace that wasn't girly and they wouldn't be embarrassed of (one is a teenage boy, picky about what he wears) and they both are very Pleased. The quality is good... but not excellent. But for the price, it is nice and what I expected. The little "door" is very easy to open and I was afraid it would come open unintentionally and let the little disc fall out but we haven't had that problem at all. Over all very Pleased. 4Beware...it does not stay closed. This is a lovely pendant/locket, the best looking one out there in my opinion, which was why I bought it over the warnings that it wouldn't stay closed for so many people. BUYER BEWARE and believe it's true: this "locket" (how ironic they call it that) is completely useless in its purpose because it DOES NOT stay closed (not even a little) and the felt pad will fall out and the oil will get all over whatever it falls on. Non-starter. Sent it back. The company who makes this item really should figure out how to make it stay closed because it really is the best looking one out there. It's too bad. 1Does the job pretty good.When I first got the locket I was dissapointed because it didn't seal completely, everytime i needed to get down to pick up something it opened and the pad came off, so it was annoying and frustrated, i kept using for that day and the next one, after I got so frustrated I decided to call the sellers, and the lady who attended me was really polite, she said "maybe the magnet is to deep and thats why is not sealing, just keep the one you have and we will send you a new one at no cost", and thats what they did, now the one I have its a total difference, seals perfectly and works great, love that while i am walking or driving or doing anything the scent comes and its great, I ordered some more pads from earth solution, they are a pack of 20 pads little bit bigger than the ones it came with the locket, actually these ones fit just perfect, holds the scent of the oil for almost the whole day, which i love, they were just 4 bucks the pack, so I ordered two packs plus some oils, good service and fast shipping. I am looking forward to buy another locked different design.5Great product I have owned several different kinds of these wearable diffusers, and this one is by far the best design. While the size of it, (about an inch across), may be a little large for some people, I think that smaller ones are difficult to open. This one is a more solid and sturdy construction and is easy to open. Some other diffusers must be removed from the necklace to change the pad, but this one opens easily in locket fashion yet has a good catch that keeps it closed and free from accidental opening. It is strung on tough cord that is not easy to break, and has a knotted slide to allow it to slip over the head and to adjust the length. No tiny little necklace closures here to complicate putting it on! It could also be easily placed on a chain should you prefer it. The pads are excellent and work well to gradually diffuse the aromatherapy oils without mess or drip. (Some other products allow oils to reach the skin which in my case resulted in a painful allergic rash. I have not had ANY problems like that with this product.) In addition, this locket is able to accommodate the colored round replacement patches sold elsewhere on Amazon--a real plus since I like combining the benefits of color with oils. The holes are also big enough to place additional oil without opening it using a standard eye dropper. In short, this is the best product of its kind that I have encountered. 5Glad I dodnt pay a lot This is really not what I expected. I think it looks really cheap. Wanted to put celitic cross on a different chain. I would have to break the chain in order for it to come off. Don t waist your money everybody. Im a guy.I love essential oils, but im not gonna drip on some essential oils infront of any dude i know. I wanted a way that i can have my oils goin on without anyone knowing, and preferably Somewhere that only i can smell.This basically does all that for me.Heres the things i was curious about before i bought this.Pendant is about 1.25 inches diameter and .40 inches deep, so its not bulky.Neclace cord is durable and adjustable, so it can hang wherever you want it too.The hinge opens to the side like a book, and its a heavy duty hinge, think i would really have to try to break it by bending it the wrong way.I bought a pack of the black replacement pads and they dont show at all, and they hold 2-3 drops of essential oil for 1 day with strong smell, and 2 days with lesser smell.And this is just a thing i do, but if you wear the necklace under your shirt it makes your shirt like a aroma dome, and you can take nose hits off it but no one else can smell it!And thats totally not weird to do! :)Cheers! 5Love it!! This review is for the Celtic cross pewter aromatherapy necklace. I like the design which is appealing to me. It is a locket. The pads fit inside and you put a few drops of an essential oil on the pad. The locket stays shut. It does not have a clasp but it opens & shuts easily. The cord is adjustable. That is nice. There are enough holes in the front of the locket necklace that the aroma of whatever oil you put on the pad will come through. I have noticed that some of the central oils can leave a bit of a residue on the inside. The locket inside cleans very easily with a cloth. I really love it!! 5I love the design The only thing that would make it a 5 star would be to have the closure more secure. Otherwise, I love the design, the size, and ability to adjust the length of the necklace. This is the second one for me to purchase, and I would purchase another one. The first one was for me and the second for my husband. My husband doesn't wear jewelry other than a wedding band but he is being treated for cancer that was found in a neck lymph node and he believes in the power of frankincense essential oil. While holding our 22 month old grandson he often will take the locket in his hand and take it to his nose, smiles, and says, "Smells good". It's nice to wear a good scent and know it effects your mood and has healing properties. 4Not worth returning. They did hold the scent ok for the day but I can't fathom how these can be reused well with a different scent. I wanted him to have access to Young Living essential oils in school especially during the winter months when colds and flu are in the air. As his school has a policy preventing him from carry a small oil sample with him, this is ideal! He likes to keep the disc topped up with Thieves and I am sure when it comes to exam time he will use a different oil to help ease his stress.I love it!!! Great to look at and a discrete diffuser!5Works well and many compliments from others! I have been wanting to use my essential oils in more creative ways. I looked at many similar necklaces and read reviews on Amazon before I chose this one. I ordered this necklace so I could wear them longer without putting them on my skin all the time. I work as a nurse and I like to wear it occasionally for work. Those patients who noticed the scent seemed to enjoy it and commented how lovely it smelled. I try to choose spicy oils for work since they would be more universally appealing (e.g. Immune Strength, Thieves, cinnamon, ginger, etc.). When going out somewhere nice I like to switch to more of a perfume scent like blends with jasmine, neroli, ylang ylang extra and melissa.This necklace is just as pictured. I chose the pewter colored metal. It is easy to use with the little pads that come with it. Just put a drop or two of whatever oil you want on the pad and slip it in the bottom of the locket. I didn't know if pads would come with it so I ordered one set separately, but now I have plenty for a while. There is a magnetic closure at the side where it opens to keep the locket closed while wearing it. This design seems to work very well. The wax cord is easy to adjust to your desired length and the locket comes on it already.The only slight problem was when I went to change to a new pad with different oils the locket itself already smelled strongly from the last pad. I found using an alcohol pad to wipe out the inside and front of the locket seemed to work well for removing the smell before adding the new pad. It didn't seem to effect the finish of the locket at all.I have had several women ask about the price and where I found it. They seemed interested in ordering for themselves. I think it is a fair price for the quality of the product and very nice how a few pads (10) come with it. I would recommend this necklace to others and I may purchase some for gifts later on. I know most anyone who loves essential oils and wearing jewelry would enjoy it very much.
