It is the first type of soap that was manufactured in PAPOUTSANIS factory 130 years ago and is still an important and growing segment of the bar soap market. It is well known, that skin and hair cleansed with olive oil soap, retain moisture, resilience, suppleness and brightness. PAPOUTSANIS pure olive oil soaps are milder than the common perfumed soaps and they are a good choice for sensitive skin. They can be used for all body, face and hair cleansing. They gently clean the skin, without drying it, but leaving it smooth and silky soft, free of oily residue.

    Better than Bronner's My face is sensitive and pimple-prone, and this has been the only natural bar soap that I've been able to use consistently (nearly three months) without a major breakout or dryness. It has also alleviated the psoriasis on my elbows. Sure, it smells a little funky at first, but it's not a scent that will linger or interfere with your perfumes/lotions. I've also been saving money by purchasing the largest bars, and slicing them down to a more manageable size. A kitchen knife will do the trick as the bars are quite soft (and won't flake everywhere). I will sticking with this soap for as long as possible. 5OLIVE OIL SOAP Like this soap. Since the times I lived in Greece I loved olive soap for its great qualities and the feel and appearance it leaves after use. The product I received was exactly as described in the listing. It has no perfume added or some artificial smell, just raw olive oil natural smell, which is what I wanted, it's very gentle to the skin - leaves it soft and smooth- and I like that this bar soap doesn't get significantly thinner after several times' use, as some other kind of soap often does, it definitely lasts much longer. ! 5
