    Does the job This does exactly what I needed! I ordered this razor for my autistic 12 year old daughter. We have found that shaving her legs really helps her with sensory issues (and looks a lot better too with her very dark hair). We are afraid to let her use a traditional razor by herself, so I have been having to help her, and that was not a very fun job for me plus we want her to be as independent as possible. She was able to use this razor by herself without me being afraid of her cutting herself.Now, I am going to be honest, this (and any shave with an electric razor) is not like the close, smooth shave you would get from a Venus razor in the shower, but it feels like you shaved a day or so before. This is adequate for my daughter, and it would be good for anyone if they were in a hurry. 5Finally! I purchased two or three different electric shavers in the past few months and all have been disappointing in quality of shave or longevity. Finally found a good affordable option. Gives a nice, close shave. will be sticking with this one! 5Works great in the tub or shower and my daughter couldn't ... I ordered this for my pre-teen daughter with hopes she could start shaving without cutting herself. It has worked perfectly. Got this to replace a small bikini trimmer that I have that needs new batteries for every use... I've had this for a month now, and am also using it for legs and underarms and am still using the batteries it came with.I am very satisfied with this product and it it were to stop working today I day buy another tomorrow.Follow up several months in... still on my same set of original batteries... I've stopped using disposable razors and only use this! Dropped it hard once and the blade pieces came off, they snapped back in (have a little bit of a bow now) but still works fine... try not to drop it is my advice lol... 5Just what I needed... I was mainly looking for a shaver for under my arms because I have sensitive skin. Regular razors give me bad razor burn. I have been using another razor for a while & it finally gave out. I could no longer find it, so I went looking.Philips Brand is a brand I have come to trust on the quality of both their men's & women's razors/shavers (my husband uses the Philips men's shavers). Here's why I like this one:PROS1) Small, compact & cordless- great for travel!2) Does not drain batteries fast- requires 2 AA batteries & they last quite a while (so far, mine has been going over a month & a half on the same batteries & still going strong- I use it everyday, but not on my legs, so I can't comment on how that might change battery use.)3) Can be used wet or dry4) Can be used on multiple areas of the body- I use mine under my arms, sometimes legs, & even upper lip5) Is gentle on sensitive skin- I was nervous about the moving blades on the edges of the shaver, but have had no problem whatsoever. I feel that they actually help pull hairs up, especially those prone to being ingrown.6) Leaves my underarms smooth & bump-free7) Great for when you're in a hurry!8) Excellent price point! Forget replacing foils, you can just buy a new shaver at this price!CONS1) Shaver surface area is a little large for delicate areas like upper lip. It still works fine, you just need to use & maneuver carefully.2) It shaves pretty well on the legs, but will not get you as smooth & close of a shave as an actual razor will- but is there an electric one that really can?? For looks though, it works perfectly fine. 4A Convenient and painless way to shave. I love this wet/dry shaver. So happy I bought this!!! I had surgery and needed help from my husband to shave. If something ever happens to this, I will definitely repurchase. 5Five StarsGreat product for young girls to begin shaving.5Great Inexpensive Battery Operated Women's Shaver For the price ($13) you really can not beat it for a decent battery operated womens shaver. The shaver works on 2 AA batteries and the unit arrives with new batteries ready to install. Installation was very simple. There is only one speed on and off, but to me that is fine. I can not imagine using different speeds on a razor as one speed is going to work best.I got this razor to use on my legs instead of using a standard disposable razor. Of course a traditional razor blade razor with water and soap is going to give you the closest shave but this one does a great job and takes the hair off my legs in a hurry. The shaver is not super loud and also does not scratch or nick my legs.The shaver comes with a plastic cover and also you can remove the shaver part to wash it. I do not plan on using it wet but this is great for getting the hair off my legs. I haven't tried it yet on my underarms as I like to do that with soap and water and a regular razor.I like that this is a name brand and not some cheap off brand.
