Remington is Quality I've had a few electric razors. This one is the best I've had so far. Remington definitely has the leg up on Wahl in terms of build quality. After what's I'd call average use the clippers are at most warm, but nowhere near hot as other clippers tend to get. The product comes in a very neat case and even comes with a barber cape, a bit short, but a nice bonus. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants good quality. 5Mine had hair already in them!These were not new! Mine arrived with hair already inside the clippers. Save your money, buy some clippers that aren't full of strangers hair.1One pass looks the same as before the pass I'm confused. I've used two different Remington clippers and have had trouble. I'm thinking I'll pass up Remington from here on out. This one leaves patches and pulls, all while being brand new. It's quiet though. That's nice. But it doesn't cut without spending ten times the amount of time others take as I'm required to pass over and over to clean up the patches it leaves. Disappointing. 1The Review I Wish I Would Have Read Before Buying This is the third pair of clippers I've purchased in the $20-$30 range in the past twenty years for my home haircuts that occur every two to three weeks. While they are sleek looking, lightweight, and come with no shortage of accessories, they leave much to be desired when it comes to actually cutting hair. Here are the issues my wife and in-house hairdresser has identified:Under-powered and needs to pass over the same areas of hair several times before cutting it all.Hair accumulates on clippers and must be scraped off by hand frequently.Gets hot quickly and comes close to feeling like it's burning the skin when used without plastic attachments.Has an overall flimsy feel.In a nutshell, you could probably do better elsewhere, and it would be nice if Remington could improve this product. 2Seller "Peachy Enterprize" (Fulfilled by Amazon) Falsely Advertised Product My complaint is regarding the seller, not the product itself, but I thought it would be useful to warn other buyers as this seems to be a recurring issue and particularly since it's "Fulfilled by Amazon." The item I received was not as advertised and was not new. I purchased a Remington trimmer that was advertised in the picture as having a rectangular, soft-pouch case, but I received a cheap plastic sleeve instead, as others have pictured in their reviews. The case is similar to that of a money sleeve, but thinner. Even worse, the trimmer guards had bits of hair scattered throughout them and were repackaged to "look new." Pitiful deception really, shameful. 1Hands down the best hair clipper I've ever owned Hands down the best hair clipper I've ever owned. I'm sure there are better ones on the market, but for the price this really can't be beat. I've owned probably 5 or 6 pairs of Wahl clippers in my life and always just put up with the pulling and nicks because I thought that's just the way it was. This trimmer was SOOO smooth. It cut right through my hair with zero catching or pulling. I was seriously so happy when I used these. Which did cause me to reevaluate my life a bit as I was so excited about a hair clipper. But once I got off the phone with my therapist I went right back to being super satisfied. This has made cutting my hair and trimming my beard so much easier. Almost brings a tear to my eye. Buy this dang thang man. 5I prefer this over Wahl This thing is great! I buzz my head every weekend and this thing does a great job at it, previously used a $20 Wahl buzzer and it worked alright for about 3 years but it was never as good as this one and the adjustments were a pain in the ass on that one, unlike this one which is much easier. Also this thing is quiet and just feels like great quality. Very happy with my decision. 5The blades cut nicely, it's very quiet I use this to trim my beard and the side of my head, and it does it very efficiently. I've gone through a couple different electric trimmers over the years, all of which have eventually broken or lost their ability to charge, so I purchased this one hoping that I won't have to replace it in a few years. 5Tough, Fast and Durable, Amazing, but not indestructible! Quickest and longest lasting trimmer I've owned. I use it to trim my cocker spaniels. It cuts much faster that most other trimmers like it says. And I must say the blades do stay sharp longer then most other trimmers. They are not indestructible though, but with a lifetime warranty you can't go wrong. I put these trimmers to the test with my dogs. I would say each of these trimmers I've owned (3 now) was good for about 12 cocker spaniel hair cuts. Again, that does not sound like a lot, but I hammer these things with my dogs. Again, most other trimmers only are good for about 3 or 4 dog hair cuts and it takes a lot longer with the regular trimmers. 5AwfulI thought I paid for a new clipper there was hairs on the comb. This is disgraceful saying I m getting a new product but I got a used product.1Nothing exist, but this one, from now on. I have used many clippers over the years. This is my favorite so far, its small, fits easily in my hand. It clips great, quickly. The sounds, oh way better than your average clipper, this is more of a humming, than the typical buzzing you hear. I trimmed my hair as well as facial hair with this. I used it with no guide just clipper without pulling, just clean clipping.I bought this to replace one I use for my hair trimming. I am ordering another for clipping my pets. This thing is a lot quieter than others and it should really help with their anxiety when clipping them. it vibrates a lot less too.I love the easy removal of the blades for cleaning. The price point is superb. 5Hair already in it!! Gross!!!! Why was hair in it when I m buying a new product? I use to be a huge amazon fan but this kind of stuff happening is getting insane. 1
