Revlon Colorstay has been my go-to foundation for over 15 years. I try different foundations on occasion, but always end up going to back to my Colorstay. I apply it over moisturized skin quickly with a make-up sponge as it dries pretty fast. The formula for oily skin tends to break me out (which is odd becausec I do have oily/combination skin), but I have much better luck using the Normal/Dry. This really is the only full coverage foundation I have found that doesn't look like an oily, poorly applied paste by the end of the day. Additionally, my skin is very fair with cool undertones and very hard to match...Colorstay fair is perfecto! 5My Favorite Foundation I always go back to this foundation after trying out new ones! It always lasts the longest on my skin and I really like the coverage and that you can build it up as well. This foundation does not settle into fine lines as much as others I've used. My only complaint is that 200 (Nude) is actually lighter than 180 (sand biege). So when I got a little sun I needed to go a shade darker from 150. So if you think you need a shade darker than 150 (buff) go with 200 not 180. 4One perfect foundation! I am glad that my forever lookout for a foundation has finally come to an end with this. My skin began to dry out like crazy off late and the fact that I sweat a lot with any foundation I use caking up wasn't helping much as well. This one though was magical . It stayed on intact for 12 hours with no touch up, even on a humid and hot day. Doesn't dry my skin at all and is absolutely easy to apply and blend onto your face. One product you wouldn't regret spending on for sure. 5In what world is this for dry/normal skin? I'm going to give this a 2 because I am extremely pale and the lightest shade actually matched me pretty well without the need for a white mix-in product. However, that's where the pros stop.In what universe is this designed for dry skin? I'm not sure if I got a bad batch maybe, because no matter what it came out completely liquid, but I know some foundations are like that. Maybe that's why it clung to every pore, ever line (I'm 23, I don't have many), everything right after I exfoliated and moisturized. It's a fast drying foundation as well, I had to blend very quickly (used a sponge and a brush, sponge was better because the brush left streaks I couldn't get rid of) and even then there were still spots from where I had applied it. So bizarre.To top off the multiple times I've tried to make this work and failed, I even used this with a Revlon primer that I like quite a bit. This made the primer literally pill up on my face like tissue paper being rubbed. I thought maybe they had different bases, like one is water based and the other isn't, but no. This product couldn't even react properly with other items from the company. My skin didn't feel better after using this, the foundation didn't last well (while partially I'm sure because I had to use my back-up primer that's not as good), and it made my dry skin look atrocious. Never buying again, such a waste of money. 2AWFUL! Even with SMALL AMOUNTS, CAKEY RESULT which ENHANCES ALL WRINKLES! I threw out THIS AND Revlon Age Defying makeup for normal skin - both a WASTE OF MONEY! They are SUPPOSED to MINIMIZE WRINKLES and LOOK NATURAL, but BOTH do exactly the OPPOSITE! What is the worst shame on Revlon is THEY USED TO HAVE THE PERFECT FOUNDATION! It was called "New Complexion" and there are LOTS and LOTS of REVIEWS from people who LOVED THAT product, AS I DID. SHAME ON YOU, REVLON, for MAKING POOR "NEW" PRODUCTS that are POOR SUBSTITUTES for what you already had! 1I'm a diehard Revlon Whipped fan because it's so easy to use I'm a diehard Revlon Whipped fan because it's so easy to use, very full coverage, and it's one of the only ones I've found that actually carries colors that are more neutral and yellow, as opposed to pinkish or green.But after two years of steady use, I figured I'd give one of their other foundations a try. So I picked the dry skin formula in the color "Sand Beige", because that's the color I was using in the Whipped foundation.Well, they're entirely different shades despite having the same name. Both swatches displayed are from products sold and fulfilled by Amazon in the past few weeks so I don't think it's an issue with age or authenticity.Decided I'd give it a shot anyway: Thin, and easily blended with my real techniques sponge. Definitely NOT drying. In one of the pictures it looks down right oily, but that might be because of the flash reflecting off the zinc or the fact that I had only just put it on. Definitely NOT full coverage, or at least not as full coverage as the Whipped. More moderate coverage, but it was easy to build up coverage with an additional application. The one I received was a pump bottle so it's a lot easier and more sanitary than the jar on the Whipped. By the end of a work day where I sit mostly behind a desk, it had begun to wear off pretty significantly. The after photo is taken roughly 11 hours after application. ***It's fair to note though that I do touch my chin a lot so it's reasonable that it would wear off. Also, it looks very obvious in the photo that the texture changed throughout the day. I didn't really notice this looking at it myself or even in a mirror. Could again be the flash, but there were no filters added to any of the photos.All in all, I do like the way it looks for a least the first few hours and I'll continue to use the bottle when I feel like mixing things up. But I'm still sticking with the Whipped. 4Color much darker than previous Honey Beige by Revlon This product is unusable for me. I've been using Revlon Honey Beige for over 15 years. This color is a LOT darker than honey beige usually is. Heading to the drugstore to buy in person. 1I don t think this is authentic I have used Revlon Colorstay 24hr for many years. I ordered The Normal/dry skin in 180 sand beige . Packaging looked normal and it arrived quickly.. I took it out of the package (clear plastic package), the bottle was sealed with a clear sticker so I cut that open, gave it a good shake, and pumped it on the back of my hand.. and as soon as I did that it was running down my hand like water. I had to catch it with my sponge! Just way too watery...you can see in my pictures how the foundation has run down the outside of the pump .. something s not right.. 1It was passable I had to mix this with another color to get a good match for my skin tone. The one thing I just didn't like about this was that if I rested my chin in my hand then happened to touch my slacks, I ended up with a smear of foundation on my slacks. I haven't had this happen with any other foundation I have used. I don't wear layers of foundation so this was just not going to work for me to have to remember never to touch my face during the day. I'm just not that kind of gal. 3Using it for I think over 20 years? Has it been around that long? I have used this product for many, many years. As a veterinary technician, my makeup has to stay on all day & withstand dogs licks and splashes of who knows what. There's also sweating while cleaning or holding big dogs. Clinique could not do it, but Revlon could. I found out however, when I switched from combination/oily skin to dry skin, the colors do not correspond. I had to call Revlon to match me to the color I was using. A little weird, but at least I was relieved to find they did not toss my color in the can.I thought I was nuts when I bought my bottle and the color was off. 5
