Customer Reviews

The only foundation I like. I like a full coverage foundation and when I have tried other brands that are cakey and too thick and make my skin look heavily made up. Not this, goes on smooth and blends perfectly. Make my skin look flawless without the goop. 5Had to get use to the sparkles A little background: 1)I have pretty good normal skin w/very few blemishes 2)I mostly use foundation to even out my skin tone around my cheeks & eyes although I sometimes do full face 3)I like natural feeling makeup with medium coverage (no masks for me). I normally use Makeup Forever HD foundation but my budget wouldn't allow it this time around so I had to look for replacements. After looking at some reviews this seemed like a good option. I knew about the "light reflecting particles" and that it could cause you to look "white faced" in photos (which is the exact opposite of what HD is supposed to do!) but like I said budget constraints so what could I do but try it out? So moving on...after first trying the product I didn't really notice the glitter but when I DID notice them I thought they were a little cra-zay esp when I went out in the sun (this was the end of summer in Las Vegas). I asked my boyfriend if he thought it was noticeable or looked weird but he said "No". I mean he could see them but it didn't look strange to him. Of course that didn't help much and I still thought it was strange to have a glittery face. However I have been using this product almost daily for months now and no one has ever commented on my sparkling glittering face so I think I am, and you will be good. More often than not I do use it with Makeup Forever HD translucent powder (which is amazing and lasts forever!) so that helps tone things down a little and also helps when taking pictures. Also, the color is a perfect match for my skin so I'll stick with this during the cooler months. All in all I would say it is a good sub for me, offers about the same coverage and although it is a little thicker than my usual foundation, it feels good on my skin. I haven't noticed it accentuating any negatives like fine lines, rough patches etc.Shipping was quick, product was wrapped up like new and have no complaints on that end. 3Sparkling vampire I was looking for a new foundation and decided to try this oneFirst of all, my skin tone is pale neutral, I am somewhere between N10 ,NW13 and NC15 in Mac foundations (I wonder why they don't do NC10)I purchased this foundation in color Ivory and is perfect , it will surely work for very pale people but I don't know how would do for pink undertones.Another detail about my skin, super dry, mature skin! but facial products like moisturizer or foundation tend to stay on the surface of my skin and never absorb !This foundation (and the photoready primer ) absorbed/felt dry to the touch really quick even without having to use any setting powder or spray!! that for me is great! It gives a nice medium to full coverage in my opinionNow the Cons:Sparkling like Twilight vampire!!!really, it has so much sparkle that I will only use it on cloudy days or evening/night . Sadly it's very hard to take a photo showing this but I tried. 3Gives a flawless, airbrushed finish I absolutely love this foundation. Up until the point I discovered PhotoReady, my foundation never quite blended the way I wanted it to. Now, using this in conjunction with green foundation primer, and a high quality flat kabuki brush, I get the flawless, almost airbrushed finish I'd been wanting. It never feels heavy; coverage amount is moderate (which is what I want); and it lasts all day long.I hope they never discontinue this product. I will continue using it as long as they make it. 5This makeup is a nice addition to the REVLON COLORSTAY CAPPUCINO foundation This makeup is a nice addition to the REVLON COLORSTAY CAPPUCINO foundation. It doesn't take much to make the color just right since Revlon started changing foundation colors. The bottle is not designed to be unscrewed or un-capped. I pry it open with a can opener because just when you think you're running out of makeup - there's a LOT of foundation in the bottom of the bottle. Use Q-Tips to get your money's worth and recap the bottle until all the makeup is used up. 5Easy to apply but Easy to apply and doesn't cake. With that being said, it really doesn't cover very well. I have some light red patches in a couple of spots on my face and it doesn't cover them like standard foundation. I expected this to line up with hd photo foundations but it doesn't come close. Spend the extra money if you have any discolorations on you face. 3I'm enjoying Revlon PhotoReady foundation. It covers redness very ... I'm enjoying Revlon PhotoReady foundation. It covers redness very well while sun spots are faded and not as noticeable. It blends into my dryskin very well and pore size is reduced or invisible. I use a foundation brush with short circular motions to reduce pore size. Using a sponge orcheap foundation brush resulted in blotchy areas and showed dry patches of skin. 5... will get the job done but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for people with sensitive skin This product will get the job done but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for people with sensitive skin. I have been using the regular all-day wear revlon makeup for a couple years and I decided to try the photo ready one and my face broke out EVERYWHERE. My cheeks, chin, and forhead all broke out in acne after only a couple uses. May be a good product for some people but I won't be getting it again. 2Almost Perfect Love this foundation. I use one shade for coverage then another for highlighting. I have dry skin and the reason I can't give it the full 5 is because it's not very moisturizing. I usually just slather on extra moisturizer beforehand and finish with fix+ and that makes it radiant and dewy.It does, indeed, photograph really gorgeously. It's the only foundation I use and it doesn't take much for me get the look I desire. And considering Revlon is one of the only drugstore brands to carry my color (Mocha), I am loyal to this foundation. 4I like this foundation and it doesn't break me out I have breakouts in my "T-zone" and dry Keratosis prone skin on my cheeks. I like this foundation and it doesn't break me out. Medium build-able coverage. I have used other Revlon color stay and it's just too thick for daytime but this formula is more fluid. I have olive undertones with pink cheeks and this color does well. If my skin is super sensitive from being overly dry, I have felt a slight sting after applying, the only down side so far. You will need a concealer for bad break-outs under this makeup, it's just not thick enough to cover bad pimples well. I recommend for the price and because it didn't cause break-outs. Finally! :) 5
