Customer Reviews

Great Product Wow, this stuff works better than I expected. A small dot on each nail and quick buff with my chamois and my nails really do look like they have polish. Only better because instead of that heavy lacquered look you sometimes get with clear polish, this gives a nice healthy shine and glow. 5You can see the shine developing as you buff so you can stop when you're satisfied with the amount of shineI bought the chamois buffer and the buffing cream together. The cream is gritty (which helps to smooth the nail) and you use VERY LITTLE each time you use it. I anticipate this 2oz jar lasting at least three years. Okay. First you put just a little on each nail making sure you spread it all over the nail (I do one hand at a time). Then you rub the buffer back and forth over the nail. You can see the shine developing as you buff so you can stop when you're satisfied with the amount of shine. Plan on it taking a little longer the first few times you use it. When you are finished buffing wash your hands taking care to remove any remaining grit. Once your initial shine is established, all future buffings (with or without the cream) will be much quicker. Sometimes if I'm going out for the evening I'll run the buffer over my nails quickly just to bring out the high shine. You need this buffing cream for the whole idea to work but the jar will last a long time. Despite being gritty the cream will NOT irritate your hands and rinses off very easily. Try the system . . . I think you will like the results.5Whoa....that's shine... I have used this cream about 5 times, let it dry and polish with a chamois nail buffer. The first couple of times there was no big difference, but now it seems as if I applied 3 coats of top coat. Really shinny!!! I don't know if I'll ever go back to nail color :) 5This is an awesome product and will probably last few years since it ... This is an awesome product and will probably last few years since it takes so little. Get yourself a suede buffer as you'll need it to make this product work. For any of those bad reviews they're just not doing it right. Best if you buy a nail buffer and buff your nails down to except this product successfully. You can pick them up for like $3 at Rite Aid. Stuff your nails smooth and then apply lightly with a Q-tip, like you would put wax on a car. Let it dry and then buff it out thoroughly just like you would have car. Eventually the shine will just pop up and then just wash your hands. And you're set and you can rebuff it anytime with the suede buffer. I've been using a p shine product for decades and they don't make it anymore and this is the next best thing for a fraction of the cost of anything else out there. I can't recommend this strongly enough. 5GET IT I wish there were more good reviews on this product. I was on the fence forever and finally took the leapt to get it! I cannot tell you how awesome it is! First off, I have always had ugly nails. I usually bite them off, my manis always chip..I had ugly boy hands and even uglier nails. So here's the story...My bestie and I went to the manicures and the lady basically told ....you need long nails you have ugly hands. I was sad. So I said hmm OK lets go with Arcylic nails..make me beautiful dammit. So I was for the few weeks the nails lasted. Then..one broke. Side note...please don't get me wrong I don't work with my hands..I type and text...and thats it. Please dont judge me. So with 9 beautiful nails and one ugly broke pinky one ...I was ready to get these suckers off. I went to get them taken off and of course she took off the arcylic and all the much needed layers of nails I needed. So yes, I came home with creases and ridges and all sorts of ugly. I was sad. Really sad. So of course when life gets confusing, AMAZON it to figure it out. So I looked up buffers and through tons of scrolling and looking etc.. I stumbled upon 4 MUST HAVE FOR ALL UGLY HANDS products. Sally Hansen Cuticle Remover, Tweezerman Shape and Shine Nail tool, Chamois nail buffer and THIS! I basically used the cuticle remover first which was super easy and actually fun, and then with the Tweezerman Shape and Shine tool to buff out most of the ridges and bumps on my nails and then applied a tad bit of this too each nail(yes, a little goes a long way..seriously youll have this for the next two years if you play your cards right) and buff with the Chamois buffer for a brillant shine be patient..watch tv or something it does not happen in 4 seconds..... Now, my nails are really healthy and look awesome. No trips to the nail salon, fake nails etc. Just totally my own nails looking better than ever! I hope this helps all the hopeless ugly nailed people! 5Fabulous! Just have had it a couple of days and already I'm in love! It forms a thick, tough, shiny coating on the nails, protecting from damage. I have been layering it on, one thin layer at a time, buffing between each layer. It stays on well through normal handwashing, even frequent washing. Probably wouldn't do as well with hot dishwater, but I'll wear gloves. I just use an old soft sock to polish. Be sure to wash hands afterward and apply lotion, so the wax doesn't dry out your cuticles It won't remove any from your nails. 5I don't know if this brand is any better than any other It works, nothing really earth shattering. I don't know if this brand is any better than any other, I'm just pleased that it works. 4I realize that nail polish and the remover both have chemicals so figured this isn't going to be any worse that that I hesitated ordering this product - mainly because it was a chemical but decided to try it. I realize that nail polish and the remover both have chemicals so figured this isn't going to be any worse that that! If you put one tiny dot on each nail and then buff each nail at a time it works well. You might see the difference immediately, but I found it really helps after 2-3 times and then only once a week. Honestly I like the looks of this so much better than polish as it has a natural look and so much easier than polishing/removing every few days. Wash your hands well after using and keep the cuticle soft by gently massaging around the nail with a good soap and paraban free lotion. 5Great Stuff! Better than painting, this cream lasts longer and it is better for fingernails. As a teacher who is hard on her hands and nails, buffing with this cream keeps nails shiny, lasting longer than any clear polish would last. This honest review was not paid for. 5Amazing shine when used with a chamois hand bufferNot sure why this is called a cream because I expected it to be like a lotion but it is more like a car wax...as soon as you put a dab on your nails it starts to dry and you have to buff it off; and you can feel the finest bit of grit in the cream. I was shocked at how much shine I achieved with this product and a chamois hand buffer. I typically used a foam sander with a shine layer glued to it which I always thought gave a great shine...until now. I wont use those anymore. This is also quicker...only takes about 15 seconds with firm fast pressure which is needed to create the friction so the buffing cream works. I tries buffing my nails with the chamois alone and got no results...so the magic is in the cream. 7 days later, the super shine starts wearing off but still looks great. I imagine how long it last depends on how much and how you use your hands. I really like the idea of having well kept pretty nails without the chemicals, smell, chipping and time involved with polish.5Great buffing assist for beautiful nails I bought this to use with the 7 inch Chamois buffer also here on Amazon. You just put the smallest dab on your nail and buff away. the slight grittiness works to smooth ridges in the nail and works up to a fine shine somewhat like clear polish does. the real thing is this is healthy for your nails and keeps them from being dried out by polish as air still gets to the nail. also, the smoothness produced on the nail works better than filing which is still somewhat jagged and can catch on clothing etc. the cream is going to last a long time as you use only the smallest amount on each nail and also begins to adhere to the buffer causing one to need even less of this cream. 5No polish necessaryDo it yourself professional shine, no polish necessary. I used this product along with a suede leather buffer and got a lovely shine that lasted more than 2 weeks with very little effort. It seemed to make my nails a little stronger too.5Very Disappointed - Chock Full of Toxic Ingredients My intention was to find a nontoxic alternative to nail polish. However, I guess I didn't sufficiently check out "Buffing Cream", prior to purchasing it, which by the way, isn't eligible for refund.. Grateful though, that I only invested $6.08. As I mentioned in my headline, Buffing Cream is chock full of toxic ingredients, which many responsible companies are trying to eliminate, such as: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Methylparaben, Probylparaben, Fragance, Red Dye 33, etc. So my advice to all those like-minded women, who feel the same as I do, is to opt for a good quality oil like, olive, avocado or argan oil to apply perhaps before or after, buffing, as a far superior healthful choice for your nails. The only reason that I gave the product 1 star is because this request was mandatory in order for my review to be accepted for submission. 1
