They work! My toenails have become very thick over the last few years, ordinary scissors wouldn't work, neither would toenail clippers; I couldn't fit my thick nails into clipper space. Well this product did the trick. It was wide enough so that my nails could be easily cut. The soft grip let me hold onto the scissors with no problem, and they are very sharp...but come with a guard for the end. I wish they were a little longer, but still a wonderful product. 5Easy to use Great for thick/fungus nails where a traditional clippers would not work. The spring action is helpful and it makes it easy to use without much force and the grips are very comfortable. They are SHARP!. Just need to be careful. They have a sharp point on them which is great for getting into tight spots and I can see how it would be useful for ingrown nails. They come with a cover for the blades which makes it good for travel. 5Very Sharp, Great Grip and Leverage Action By far, the sharpest pair of toenail clippers I've ever purchased. The leverage is really nice - capable of cutting pretty thick, tough toenails. The price was very reasonable also, compared to the prices one sees for similar clippers I've seen at drug stores/chain pharmacies. The size is perfect and the operation very smooth with the roller cylinder on the pivot of the spring arm. I've only used them once since I received them. As I've gotten older, my large toe nails have gotten thicker and a quality sharp pair of clippers is quite necessary for me.I also purchased here on Amazon, also from Fox Medical Equipment a nice set of surgical grade, stainless steel, fingernail and a slightly larger size of toenail cutters. I've been buying Revlon manicure/pedicure products all my adult life, but decided that at my age, I deserved some really quality mani/pedi instruments. I also separately bought a nice zippered leather pouch from Leatherology to hold all these new tools. My wife has always had her own mani/pedi tools that I borrowed so often that a couple of them began staying in my bathroom all the time. Now I'm building up my own set. Some fine instruments so far. I've also recently purchased a very sharp, quality pair of cuticle cutters/nippers for my new collection from Suvorna. 5Must have for big toe toenail clipping Great big toe clippers, not just for ingrown toenails! These clippers are sharp and very ergonomical. I bought these cos regular clippers were hard to use on my big toenails. These have a contoured blade tip for reaching corners better.If you have thick nails (and even if you don t) you should always soak your feet and nails in warm water before attempting to trim your toenails. These clippers are easy to grip and have a metal prop between the handles to make the clippers open and close easily with each squeeze.This is much easier to use than small clippers because the size of the handles allow you to grip and squeeze easier. You ll never want to use regular clippers on your big toes again. I still use regular clippers on my small toes but I could use these too.The quality of the steel and rubber handles feel very good for the price. I saw plenty of look alikes on here but I m glad I paid a little more for a pair of clippers that feel sturdy.Great buy and would make a great gift! 5If you have arthritis or fibromyalgia, these are excellent Got these on an Amazon Prime sale, they are fantastic! They take the time and effort out of a sometimes uncomfortable, difficult task.So much easier to hold onto and control direction than typical clippers. It's also easier to keep from taking off too much and/or cutting yourself. 5Doesn't cut well and difficult to use Blades a bit dull and doesn't cut well.The opening or gap between the cutting blades TOO narrow/small and difficult to get your nail in-between the blades to cut your nail; this would be difficult to use if one has thick nails.Seems like not very good quality overall.
